I think that we will have a trend in direction of forcing some “manual” labor from the engineers to fight back the control over the code base. Because, at least at this stage, someone should have an overview of the project in the head and share responsibilities for the quality of it. And so far it can be done only via driving the human through some reviews and decisions regarding project

Yeah, it would be nice to have someone in the company who have an idea about codebase except AI
